The Greeley Stampede, alternately dubbed the Greeley Independence Stampede, is a yearly event hosted in the City of Greeley, Colorado. It takes place over 2 weekends in July and includes a rodeo authorized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), bull riding, and children's rodeos, country and classic rock concerts, a demolition derby, a televised Fourth of July parade, a carnival midway, a Western Art Show, free stage entertainment, and a variety of festival grounds activities mingled with food and fun. Numerous individuals have contributed significantly to the Greeley Stampede's success over the last century. Simply by virtue of several people contributing their time and resources, the event has grown into what it is today. The Greeley Stampede Hall of Fame was established to recognize those who have provided significant contributions to the Greeley Stampede.
